Enero J Ray

Visual Storyteller | Collage Artist | Creative Facilitator

Enero is a Chicago-based producer, editor, and visual storyteller whose work interweaves film, photography, collage, and assemblage. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video from Columbia College Chicago, where she developed a foundation in cinematic storytelling that continues to inform her multidisciplinary practice.

Living with a chronic illness profoundly reshaped her creative practice, leading her to collage as both an artistic language and a means of navigating life’s shifting terrain. By transforming fragments into layered visual narratives, Enero’s work examines resilience, memory, and the beauty of reconstruction. Each composition becomes an act of reassembly—of images, experiences, and self—reflecting the mind’s remarkable ability to create new neural pathways through imagination and making.
