Cucumber Mint Water

By: Mindy Eisenberg, MHSA, C-IAYT, ERYT-500 with Bettyanne Hodges, Director of Marketing, YMMS

When your body feels overheated or tired, sometimes plain water isn’t enough. You need something that feels cool, calming, and a little more special. This easy drink does more than taste good—it actually helps cool your body from the inside out.

Both cucumber and mint are known for their natural cooling properties. Cucumber is packed with water and helps hydrate your body quickly. Mint contains menthol, which creates a cooling sensation in your mouth and can help lower your internal temperature. Together, they make perfect heat-fighting combo—no sugar, no caffeine, and no stress on your system.

Cooling your body doesn’t have to be complicated. A few deep breaths (See the previous blog to review the cooling breath). A few sips. A few moments of calm. Try pairing this refreshing drink with the Cooling Breath technique for a simple routine that supports your body, mind, and mood—especially in the heat.
